An invite download is a special type of download count you earn when creators you've invited to Motionstyles have their products downloaded by subscribers. These downloads increase your total monthly download count, which determines your share of the creator earnings.
How do invite downloads work?
When a subscriber downloads a product from a creator you invited, two things happen simultaneously:
- The creator earns a regular download toward their monthly total
- You earn an invite download toward your monthly total
Can you give me an example?
If a subscriber downloads a motion pack from a creator you invited, that creator receives one download count for their product being used. At the same time, you receive one invite download count added to your monthly total. Both downloads contribute to your respective shares of the creator earnings pool at month's end.
How do invite downloads affect my earnings?
At the end of each month, total site earnings are distributed based on download counts. Invite downloads increase your total count, giving you a larger share of the monthly earnings distribution.
Do invite downloads count equally toward earnings calculations?
Yes, when monthly earnings are calculated, both the original creator's download and your invite download are counted equally toward the total. This means you and the creator you invited both benefit proportionally from each download of their content.
