How does the affiliate program work?
Once approved as a partner, you receive a unique coupon code and referral link. When someone subscribes using your code or link, you earn a commission on their subscription payments. Your partner dashboard shows all your referrals, earnings, and payout history in real-time.
What are the commission options?
You can choose one of two commission structures when you apply:
- One-Time Commission (50%) – Earn 50% of the first payment from each referred subscriber. For example, if someone signs up for the $120/year annual plan, you earn $60.
- Lifetime Commission (25%) – Earn 25% of every payment from each referred subscriber for as long as they remain subscribed. Using the same example, you’d earn $30 per year for each year they stay subscribed.
How do I refer someone?
There are two ways to refer new subscribers:
- Coupon Code – Share your unique discount code (e.g., “JOHNSMITH”). When a customer enters it at checkout, they receive a discount off the annual plan and you receive credit for the referral.
- Referral Link – Append your referral code to any Motionstyles URL (e.g., motionstyles.com/pricing?ref=johnsmith). If the visitor subscribes within 30 days of clicking your link, the referral is attributed to you.
How long does the referral link stay active?
Referral links have a 30-day attribution window. If someone clicks your referral link and subscribes within 30 days, you receive credit for the referral. After 30 days, the tracking expires and the referral will not be attributed.
What happens if a referred subscriber cancels or gets a refund?
Referral statuses are tracked automatically. If a referred subscriber cancels their subscription, their status updates to “churned” and no further commissions are earned. If a refund is processed, the referral is marked as “refunded” and the associated commission is adjusted accordingly.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated and accumulated on a monthly basis. You can request a payout once your balance reaches the minimum threshold of $20. Payouts are available via PayPal or Payoneer.
What happens if I don’t meet the minimum payout threshold?
If your balance is below $20, your earnings carry over and continue to accumulate until you reach the threshold.
How do I apply to become an affiliate partner?
You can apply through the partner application page on Motionstyles. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and you’ll be notified upon approval. After approval, you’ll have access to your partner dashboard with your unique coupon code and referral link.
Where can I track my referrals and earnings?
Your partner dashboard shows all your active referrals, commission earnings, accumulated balance, and payout history in real-time. You can monitor which referrals are active, churned, or refunded.
