How to License a Track
- Find a track you want to use
- Check the Content ID and P.R.O. status on the track page
- Click Download to license the track for your project
- Each download grants a license for one end product
If you need to use the same track in multiple projects, download it separately for each one.
Content ID Status
Each track shows whether it's registered with YouTube's Content ID system:
- Content ID Free: No YouTube claims. Use freely without worrying about monetization.
- Has Content ID: The track is registered with a Content ID administrator. You may receive a claim on YouTube, but it's not a copyright strike—you can request claim clearance through your account.

P.R.O. Status
Each track shows whether it's registered with a Performance Rights Organization:
- P.R.O. Free: No cue sheets required. Use freely in broadcast, film, and TV without additional paperwork.
- Has P.R.O.: The track is registered with a P.R.O. (ASCAP, BMI, etc.). If you use it in broadcast or film, you may need to file a cue sheet.

Attribution
Credit is always appreciated but never required. If you'd like to credit the artist, the creator's name is shown on each track page.
What You Cannot Do
- Claim ownership: You cannot register tracks with Content ID or claim ownership of the composition or recording.
- Redistribute: You cannot share, resell, or upload tracks as standalone files.
- Use after subscription ends: You cannot use tracks in new projects after your subscription ends (but completed projects retain their license).
